Welcome to my tribute section. Here I would like to pay homage to 2 of my biggest hero's:
Cliff Burton, Metallica bassist 1981 - 1986, and Ayrton Senna de Silva, 3 times Formula One
World Champion.
I love Metallica (like you haven't noticed yet!! LOL) but it wasn't until 1991, when the 'Black Album' came out, that I really started to get heavily into them. Like a lot of other people that album really bought Metallica to my attention and I took notice. But when I learnt a year later about Cliff I imediately felt like there was a hole in my new-found musical passion. There is no doubt what-so-ever that Metallica's first 3 albums are their best! Lars himself has been quoted as saying that if Cliff was around the 'Black Album' would never have happened, let-alone the "whole Load thing". While the albums from ...And Justice For All to the S&M performance still rock the only way Metallica can, they just aren't the same without the driving force of Cliff. And any Metallica fan would agree.

Ever since the first time I saw Ayrton Senna flying around the streets of Adelaide before the Formula One was given to Melbourne, I have loved F1 motor racing. That was about 12 years ago now and I still follow it, every race, every year. The day Ayrton died was the blackest day in motor sporting history. To this very day that tragedy still brings the best of them to tears (Micheal Schumacher after winning the race at Monza in 2000 and equalling Senna's race wins record). I have included links to the 2 best Senna sites I have found, with 1 of them dealing with, in great detail, the inquiry into the cause of the accident on May 1st, 1994 at the San Marino Grand Prix. Tribute to the best F1 driver ever to sit in the cockpit and my all-time sporting hero.
